the things i think about while i’m at my last day in the office

...as i've no work left to do and i’m just staring at my monitor, i'm thinking today’s a good day to retreat back to my old writer self.

javier bardem ties up with dennis hopper (blue velvet) as my favorite villain. if you’ve watched mar adentro (under the english title the sea inside ) and then you watch his topnotch performance in no country for old men the character transformation is outstandingly astounding!

i like no country for old men because it shows you that sometimes, even the movies need more than two hours to defeat evil. sometimes, evil just escapes.

U2 in 3D is a mind-blowing experience! the songs to download: bloody sunday, sometimes you can’t make it on your own and where the streets have no name. the only major drawback is that i feel chained to my seat. their rendition of with or without you during the encore ignited all repressions and i just want to get up from my seat and scream and join the live crowd. nonetheless, it’s the closest that i can get to experiencing the actual concert. i swear i really felt as if bono was looking directly at me.

i want to write a poem that starts like this:

the chrysanthemums in the garden
do not bloom
in may

today is my last day at work. i am going to create a separate article for that, but it just occurred to me that resignation is the sum total of gloom and nostalgia.
